Task: HOE360 Consulting attended a workshop generating ideas, initiated by the project secretariat for Super Bike Paths, and was subsequently responsible for the development of a catalogue, containing a number of ideas and solutions for visual communication by marking, signage and guidance on existing and future Super Bike Paths. We also carried out an economic assessment of the individual initiatives and estimating conditions concerning regulatory approval.
Value Creation: The developed solutions focused on improving the level of service for cyclists. Ensuring greater recognition in the form of easier orientation and route choice was therefore paramount. Similarly, it was important for uniformity in the visual expression.
Background: Super cycle paths is a collaboration between a number of municipalities in the metropolitan area and to create better conditions for commuter cyclists, so they chose the bicycle over the car - even on longer stretches. It provides better urban environment, less congestion and more health - for the benefit of all.
