Bicycle parking improvements at 4 train stations and in the city centre
Task:
Visual inspection, measurement, assessment of space consumption and the possible need for improvement and capacity increase.
Creating value:
Solutions included traditional bicycle racks, but also solutions for enhanced protection against bicycle theft, both in the range of locking options and bicycle boxes. As well as, shelters or canopies and charging options for electric bikes.
Background:
The Municipality of Roskilde wanted clarification of possibilities for bicycle parking solutions, as well as cost-level evaluation.
